Colonia Güell: Hidden treasure

A peaceful oasis, in the heart of the countryside but just 15 minutes from the centre of Barcelona by public transport, conceals one of the most important jewels of modernista architecture: the Colònia Güell. The Güell Crypt is, without doubt, the jewel in the crown of this magnificent complex; it is one of the least-known works by Antoni Gaudí –the famous architect and creator of the Sagrada Família, the Park Güell and La Pedrera– yet, according to the experts, it is the one that best captures the true spirit of his architecture. Good Luck!
